Service
Here you’ll find answers to the most common questions we get asked around our prescription service, but if you still can’t find the answer you’re looking for, just contact us by email or phone.
We always aim to despatch your order upon receipt of your prescription. We ask you to give us approximately 2 weeks’ notice before you need your delivery, so we have plenty of time to obtain your prescription and deliver your order to you.
Prescriptions are free in Northern Ireland, Scotland and Wales. In England, if you are between the ages of 18 and 59 and you have a permanent stoma, you can apply for a Medical Exemption Certificate from your GP. We will then able to mark your prescription as exempt from prescription charges and you will not have to pay.
Please give us a call on 0800 220 300 or 0800 028 6848 (Northern Ireland). We will discuss your requirements and will assist with getting in touch with your Stoma Care Nurse, who can authorise any required changes to your prescription.
Yes. Just let us know when you place your order. We can deliver to any address in the United Kingdom.
No. Our courier does not require a signature, and, you can let us know to leave it in a safe place if you aren’t going to be at home.
Yes! We can arrange free samples of any manufacturer’s products. Before sending samples to you, we may need to check with, or ask you to check with, your Stoma Care Nurse. This is just to make sure that the samples will be suitable for you to try.
We’ll do our best to get you supplies, which may not be your typical ones, until we can get you your full usual order.
If you live in England or Wales and your healthcare provider (GP) is enrolled in the electronic prescription service (EPS), they can send your stoma supply prescriptions directly to us for faster processing when you nominate us as as your Dispensing Appliance Contractor (DAC).
