Describe a typical day at work for you.
My day differs on a daily basis, no two days are the same. I start my working day at 9am and make myself available to take calls first thing. In between calls, I process regular orders with the team to make sure we stay ahead of schedule and on top of things. If a customer has a problem with any products they are using or with their stoma supplies, I make it a priority to liaise with the stoma care nurses to solve any issues.
What are your 3 favourite things about your job?
- I feel we make a difference to people’s lives
- The team spirit is fantastic and nothing is ever too much to ask of anybody
- Getting to know customers and building a relationship with them
What’s the last film you watched?
London Has Fallen – It’s a film about London being targeted by terrorists with a plot to kill the president. Gerard Butler plays a character Mike Banning who is tasked with the job of making sure the president stays alive, it’s a great film!
What’s your favourite book?
Sir Alex Ferguson’s autobiography. I’m a huge Manchester United fan and he did unbelievable things with the club and brought a lot of success. He’s also quite a character!
What has been your best day at work?
My first day, everyone was so welcoming and I’ve got to learn so much. The company has a really close family feel about it and this reflects within the colleagues I work with.
If you won the lottery, what’s the first thing you would do?
Pay off my parent’s mortgage and look after my family and friends. I would take my family on a holiday to be pampered. I would also take out my colleagues for a nice meal and a night on the town.
